RMC Service Centre is seeking an experienced Boat Builder / Shipwright to join our dynamic expanding service team. Conveniently located at Runaway Bay Marina, RMC Service is the dedicated service centre for R Marine Crawley (Award-winning Gold Coast Riviera dealership).

Your work will differ from day to day, working on a variety of new and late model luxury motor yachts. Tasks you will be expected to complete include, but are not limited to
- Basic 12/24-volt electrical disconnection and reconnection i.e.; replacing bilge pumps, float switches etc
- Day to day basic vessel maintenance checks i.e. battery testing and charging, proper care and maintenance of same (Training will be provided if required)
- Installation of basic electronics – radios & aerials
- Basic plumbing
- Small gel coat repairs/touch-ups/ buffing and polishing to complete repairs
- Seal and use silicon/adhesives while achieving a correct and aesthetically pleasing finish
- 2-part cleaning of teak decks & Semco application
- Timber cabinetry removal, repair/replacement
- On and off-site warranty repair.
- Our facility on the marina is modern and comfortable with easy access areas for trailer vessels, as well as being in close proximity to the marina and travel lift.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes;

- Efficient time management skills and ability to adhere to work timelines
- Previous experience/knowledge of Riviera boats would be advantageous.
This position may be casual or permanent, depending on the candidate. Workshop hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4pm. The hourly rate will be based on experience.
